How do I adjust something's alpha in Game Maker? I know i've done it before, but its been almost a year since I last used that program. :P

^^ And if you're using a Draw event, you have to plug that into a function like draw_sprite_ext().

That's right, Hikij, never forget that :)! The value has to be between 0 and 1... for half-transparent, you'll want 0.5, and such...
