Which border is the best?

Hi everyone. I was making a border for an intro of a game but I dont know wich border is the best. With or without light reflects?:

I think it depends on the motive inside, if it glows in purple/pink then it would look great, especially with some flickering effect.. but otherwise I'd skip it. Oh, and the frame looks great :)

I don't like the background.
It's too obvious it's made with paint. Can't explain really...
The border on the other hand is brilliant. Great work with that.

Yeah. Specially because I've made it with Photoshop.

Hmm well the pose is a bit awkward, and the black outlines make it look worse than it is. Also the vertical lines look a bit too straight to me. If you changed the colors a bit and worked on the shading and outlines it would be pretty good.

The outlines (black) look too defined. I suggest shading a bit towards them. Otherwise, it's really good!

No, is it full of bad poses or what? I'm comparing it to TMC and church windows, and this looks a bit flat and the lines between the segments are too straight. The other comments are just common spriting knowledge.

Don't you people worry about that stupid cristal. I may not use it. I didn't put a lot of effort on it so I think its half-useless

Seeing as the creator of the sprite doesn't know, it does need pointing out.. Anyway, from the looks of those pictures he's not going for that style, but rather the TMC style but with a WW motive (motif?). Just because it's used in a game doesn't mean the pose isn't weird.
