Title. Got the black one. And it's really cool... you know, with the faceplates, brighter backlight on the screen, smaller size, etc. I also noticed that it gets more battery life than my DS did (That's not the whole reason I got it, though. I got it because my DS's memory was messed up, and the hinge was broken because of my little brothers... didn't want it breaking more)

Anyway... I got it used for $50. Not bad. But the faceplates are really beat up >_< Gonna get new ones soon. Anyway, I'm using a camo faceplate (you know... the army suit design) and I like how it looks on my Micro. And I like how some of my games look on it, compared to how they looked on my DS and my GBA-SP.

So... Who else has got it, and what accessories do you use with it?

No, the Micro can only play GBA games. Anyways, I never saw any point in buying one. Sure, faceplates and stuff is cool, but the size of the screen and the lack of back-compatibility are big turnoffs for me.

The screen size is great for me, I would get one if they were cheaper, because of Wind Waker, FF:CC, and Pacman VS.

Uhh... BM? You do know that this is a Gameboy Micro, right? Not a GameCube Micro?

EDIT: Nevermind. I was being dumb. >_< GCN Connectivity, right?

Yeah, Tingle Tuner, FF:CC multiplayer, and Pacman controller for Pacman Vs.

I'd need 2 for FF:CC, $100, and I don't get allowance, so...

As great as the GBA Micro appears to be, I've already got an SP, and that can play GBA games AND old GB games. It also flips open, which is really cool.

Don't need a Micro when you've got that.

I 've found the SP to be uncomfortable to hold, as it it small, and the controls are cramped. It needs new R and L buttons.

You can't connect the Micro to the Gamecube, it has a different sized adapter port to normal GBAs and SPs

You'd think with all the disabilities and outdated technology that the Game Boy Micro would come at an extremely cheap price...

Why get a Micro when you have SP?  For Christ's sake I have the original GBA and it works just as good or better than any Micro would. (the GBA to GC link for example)

GBA Micro can't connect with GC, because the cable doesn't fit... I was thinking about getting one too, good thing it came to my mind that micro was really small. So i had some doubts with the cable stuff, then i did some research.
Conclusion GBAM <-/-> Gamecube.

Also, the GameCube-Game Boy Advance cable does not work with the Game Boy Micro. A gamer discovered how to heck the cables to restore such compatibility
I guess you can heck the cables like stated (From Wiki) but I got a SP on ebay instead. (Along with WarioWare =D)
Plus: SP can use DS's charger... (Not sure about Micro)

I never understood why Nintendo came with a Gameboy Micro or why anyone would buy it. Why not spend 50 more and get a DS.
But I guess when you got it cheap it's nice. But I wouldn't want it :P

It only has two ports(three including the games slot if you're going to be pedantic. lol), one for earphones and one for its charger, which as I previously stated uses a different sized port, so no it doesn't  :D

Its screen size makes all games look much, much sharper than GBA, SP and DS/lite but it is still a superfluous purchase if you own any of those aforementioned consoles.

If only they had made a regular GBA with a backlight (or if I had bought one with an Afterburner kit installed).  I like the features of the SP, but hate the design, and the Micro would be too small for me.  Guess that's why I got a DS Phat, as it's the closest I can get.

What do you mean I need a life?  =P  Hm... Lives... Isn't that something that you get in Super Mario Bros?  You know, those green mushrooms?  That's a life, right?

Its not DS Phat. Its DS Nite. Heavy and more sturdy like an amored knight and shiny and silver. Hogifula!>_>
