When trying to critique pixelart and sprites, it helps to see them up close.  As of now, the only way to do this here is by saving the image to your computer and magnifying them in another program.  It's safe to say that this is a pain in the arse.

At many pixel-art related forums there is a function that allows you to double click on images and they are automatically enlarged for easier viewing.  To see what I mean, here is an old thread I made on gmpixel:

http://www.gmpixel.com/viewtopic.php?p=8795&highlight=#8795

Notice that when you click on the pixel-art, it enlarges.  Also, each time you click it and the size increases, there is no loss of quality or JPEGy-ness.

I'm not a coder or programmer, so I have no idea how hard it would be to create and implement something like this, but I think it would be VERY handy to have here.

I've already asked for this, on multiple occasions, and had nothing but "get a ff extension1!1olo".
Don't know why it's not been done.. I don't want to install extensions I don't need, but this could be a really cool feature of the site. Especially if we get a resource system up.

Right now I'm the only guy on site development, and as much as I would love to implement this and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't have the time considering the enormous amount of work I have to do for other people. If anyone wishs to code it there your wecome to otherwise you will have to wait for a few weeks until I finish my exams and have some free time.

That zooming script could just be copied and pasted, and all that would be needed is for 'class="zoomable"' to be added to the IMG tag, right?

Awesome Windy! Now, when I put the mouse on the head, the "x1, x2 etc." display vertically, make it horizontal and it will be perfect!

The bars width is determined by the image's current width, in the cases where it can't fit it all on to one line it'll do that, I had an important reason for doing it that way, I can't remember what it was now though.

Coolies. But when it enlarges it gets blurry, which might defeat the initial purpose of making it easier to critique sprites...

Can you really zoom in on that (4x and 8x) and see it right? Because for me it gets really blurry...

It does not make it blurry for me.
