Nice, the first one got a little motion blur (maybe you didn't hold the camera quiet enough? >:D) Nice work though.

Fantastic O___O; I am always amazed at brilliant photos like this. I just don't have the knack. My father does, and my sister is learning, but me: just plain retarded on the matter.

A shame too, I was considering adding some photographs to the Wikipedia article for Balmerino Abbey.

@Dayjo: I applied some contrast and colour changes, mostly to give it a softer look, getting rid of most dark colours and turning the black to grey. Just gives everything a softer, smoother look to it imo. But yeah there's no touch ups asides from that :P

@TRD: I kind of had to kneel low to the ground to get that shot, then of course I tripped. T__T Didn't notice the motion blur until I got home though.

Gonna take some more around town later this week I think. I'll post more when I take them. Also hoping to get a better camera. Nikon D80 would be awesome Dayjo :P but a bit expensive.

*bump*

Got a new camera, an 8 MPixel digital SLR camera by Canon. Pretty damn amazing little thing, I'm still figuring it out. Lots of great features.
I've added some more photos to my flickr account. I was doing some night photography :P

After getting the camera, lens filter, lens cleaner, a bag, 4-year warranty (lots of extra stuff :P) it came to about $1000. The actual camera itself was only about $700 though. 8 Mpixels, and a hell of a lot of features. Pretty amazing little camera.

This is the win, for sure. Cool statue, and the quality up close is still really great. You's a good photographer.

They're so beautiful and clear...  :'(

My pictures always come out blurry and crappy no matter what camera I use because I have no patience nor a steady hand to hold a camera, that and also I got no photography skill.

So, good job! Those are excellent photographs. Very crisp, great angle, and looks very professional!  XD

I'm into Photography, but theres nothing that interesting around here (that suits my interest that is) to photograph, I'd much prefer living near the Sea or a Harbour. And also I only have a 5 megapixel little thing, but I plan on getting an DSLR soon.

I love photography :D I take my camera (average digital one) basically everywhere I go. Most of the pictures I take are of people but on the rare occasions there arent any people so I take pictures of whatever. & I'm taking photography for A Level starting September yay :D

Yeah, my city is pretty boring too, but you really just have to look at things at a different angle. For example, those vines and that fish statue are really not much to look at. You'd probably normally not even notice them. Of course if you look at ordinary things in a new way, they can look really interesting.

I'm heading down to South/North Dakota for a while... I'll bring my camera and be sure to take lots of pics :P

Wish they had photography classes at my school, I just have to learn everything on my own I guess. XD
