The Acolyte vs HaneThunder: July, 27th The warriors emerge from their dangerous battles against foul demons and. Upon entering a dangerous thunderstorm, these two wanderers brace themselves for the worst, knowing that whatever lies under these clouds of fury is probably much worse than the crackling of lightning. Staring at each other across wild plains, each knows what they must do -- they must fight to the death.
The Acolyte comes from a religious family. His father, the late High Inquisitor of the Holy Church of Solaris, taught him to strictly worship Deus and follow the Evangelion. Now that his father has died, The Acolyte has become the new High Inquisitor, and under him, the Evangelion is law. He enforces the law with the sacred Staff of Judgment, a cross-shaped relic possessed only by the High Inquisitor. One fateful night, The Acolyte was visited by a mysterious man, possessing a giant tome of untold knowledge. Some say that the volume contains all the rules that govern the universe. The man (or apparition) told him that he was a chosen man. He was chosen to be the Ethos of the world, and to hunt down the Apostles with his "Dreamcatcher" (what the man called his holy Staff). The Acolyte debated over whether to listen to the man and begin the quest until, by some twist of fate, he met the Logos of the world at the other end of his staff...

Hane is a young orphan child living on the streets of a small village, outside a 1500's London. A quiet boy, the only friend he has is Krylia, a young girl of Hane's age who pities him for his state of living and lack of family and friends. Due to his current state, Hane often finds himself stealing to survive, but his overall intentions towards people remain positive, but most of the people around him are afraid of him, and often refrain from talking to him. He begins to question himself, wondering if there is something that makes him seem intimidating, and turns to the church for assistance. For his own reasons he embarks to discover, upon entering the church, Hane becomes stricken with panic and anger. Hane burns down his village and kills most of the inhabitants, include Krylia's parents. He awakens in an underground dungeon, with Krylia sitting in the corner crying and staring at Hane's scarred body, having no idea what has just happened to him... but that's just the tip of the iceberg.
