Tremble in fear of what I've made my Mac do. It now runs Game Maker 6.1 natively. >:D

Something like Wine, yeah. Darwine, a Mac version of Wine. I can get most things to work about 90% in it. GameMaker has a few glitches (crippling ones... I'll have to wait for a newer version of Darwine to use it), such as not being able to put in Step events (the popup won't show up), and some small text being mangled beyond recognition, and the fact that when playing a GM compiled game, it gets up to the end of the loading bar and then crashes. :P But its a good start. I can run most other Windows apps too, but Darwine doesn't seem to like games too much right now.

A new version of Darwine came out today. :D It didn't fix any of the Game Maker problems, but now I can play Kirby's Flight, and I'll assume other Fendez games, since they weren't made in Game Maker.

What a great thing to create for everyone. You better kiss the creators' feet.
I hope you get Game Maker working on your Mac.

Yeah, its really cool. I can't stop playing around with half-glitchy windows apps.

What I'm really waiting for is for Game Maker compiled games to work, so I don't have to reboot to play peoples' fangames.

Same for me. I can open and kinda use the program, but I can't get the games to work. :(

I played a whole game of Space Cadet pinball. :P But it was messed up because I couldn't hold the button to charge up my shot at the beginning of each ball, so I had to kinda tap it over and over again until it came onto the play field. Here's hoping a GM friendly version comes out soon!

Go make your own Mac GameMaker, Moldorma. I'm sure you could do it! XD; do it in BlitzMAX. It's multiplatform!

Unity > All.

But seriously, I'm not much of a programmer without a graphic interface. And I suck at making pretty much anything but games even with that. :P

Unity is proprietary, expensive, and only works on Crapple OSX. :P

Still proprietary, and doesn't work on Ubuntu.

Therefore; Unity = teh suck

Only if you like paying more for a computer that does less.
