1. My internet will sometimes just stop working. Can't load any webpages, BUT, if I'm downloading a torrent, it continues. Weird. It may be my routers connection; the cable may have a slim chance of being faulty. Any ideas?

2. ALSO; Firefox forced me to update and as a result, I lost all my quicklinks and bookmarks. HELP ME RESTORE THEM.

I can help with 2 right now- :P

theres no way to fix that :\ Firefox does that from time to time... I've had to re-find all of my bookmarks twice now... Only suggestion is to backup your bookmarks frequently

As for number 1, that's happened to me before if my torrents pickup a lot of speed; it essentially takes all the bandwidth you have, or at least the majority, enough that causes your browsing to time out before picking up the proper connection.

My router sometimes cuts me off my internet for 30 seconds at random too. Something like once every few days. Router might just be crap.

It keeps doing it. It could be my router; are there any other things I could try?

It's the router. Exact same thing happened to me with my Linksys. Get a new, different brand.

Yeah, I have a linksys too, it screws you over frequently. I suggest getting a new one, I simply don't have the money.

What's a good quality router? Belkin customer support sucks because all the help technicians are all hardcore middle easterners, and not only is it uncomfortable to talk to them, but it's almost impossible to understand them. :P
