Internet Troubles

n___n Reputation: +0/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 1311	1. My internet will sometimes just stop working. Can't load any webpages, BUT, if I'm downloading a torrent, it continues. Weird. It may be my routers connection; the cable may have a slim chance of being faulty. Any ideas? 2. ALSO; Firefox forced me to update and as a result, I lost all my quicklinks and bookmarks. HELP ME RESTORE THEM. Logged

I can help with 2 right now-

theres no way to fix that :\ Firefox does that from time to time... I've had to re-find all of my bookmarks twice now... Only suggestion is to backup your bookmarks frequently

Reputation: +0/-0 Offline Gender: Posts: 266	As for number 1, that's happened to me before if my torrents pickup a lot of speed; it essentially takes all the bandwidth you have, or at least the majority, enough that causes your browsing to time out before picking up the proper connection. Logged
