Everytime I use a indie MMORPG, or a retail MMORPG, there's always GMs that are complete dicks. Always slacking off, always being sick and yelling at others when they're sick (sick as in perverted), and abusing their powers for personal gain. Seriously, I was playing BYOND (shut up shut up shut up i am liking it) and the GMs I looked up to decided to abuse their powers to change my character name to Baka Ona, screw up my characters movement, and act like it was punishment for something silly (walking through them because they could walk through walls and they stupidly left it on). Everyone else then proceeded to suck their dicks and yell at me for what I did. I left. Screw them. If I was a GM on their game, I'd be nice, laid back, and yet, still righteous. Isn't that what GMs need to be? Who agrees with me?

Things like that almost always happen in crappy free MMORPG games. ;)

Okay, they shouldn't do that. But you're just generalizing... They are people like us, and like us, there are what we consider good people and bad people.
Message any e-mail that should be on the site, or something like that... Luckily, those noobs will get demoted from their position. xP

Also hi, welcome to the internet! You must be new here. Seriously though, many people in positions of power on the internet are dumbasses that desire power in the virtual world because they have none in the real world. Why do you think people who ask for modship hardly ever get it? Because it shows they are overly eager to have power.

In contrast to your story, however, I have had nothing but great experiences with the GMs in World of Warcraft. They are very smart and helpful, and always have a good sense of humor.

Yeah, I've encountered a few of those. Luckily, I was easily able to get them off my ass because I was wittier than they were. (Let's put it this way, they used "your mom" comebacks.)

Actually, I've never had a problem with GMs lol

On WoW I used to chat with GMs all the time when they'd pop in with a msg lol... They were friendly, and relatively easy to deal with lol
