Side Scrolling Platformer Style

All I see here(Except some like Twinsen) is Top Down view 3D or 2D3D (2D games that appear to be 3D. Examples are LTTP and MC). But then I saw that at GMC, there are side scrollers. So I started thinking during a Design Tech lesson what ZFGC would sprite in Side Scroller. So then it hit me

We don't have a style for Side Scroller!!

So I think we should start a style sheet. Not one that is design for a specific game (Zelda,Mario, SSB, you get the idea) but a general one so then people can modify it to their game. I will start some templates using anthropometrics on the NPC/Characters and post them up.

I am at college so I am working on them now!!

EDIT: I have attached a template of the character/NPC. Please tell me which of the 4 is the better one (1 is the furthest to the left and 4 is the furthest to the right) Also, I need someone to design the eyes for the characters. I can't work out the eyes for this. I'll make a palette for this when I get home.

I like your idea but ZFGC is not made for side scrolling games.. I haven't seen one in a while apart from twinsen. oh and apart from that you should make the pose more dynamic.

While it is a good idea, look at the ZFGC style topic...It died.
Even though it has died, it still gets posts every now and then.
This would just add too much.

ZFGC PLATFORMER STYLE

Let stuff get more advanced...by all means, though, if you can get people to work on this, go for it.

that took about 5 minutes, it wouldn't take long to convert stuff properly either.

Let me just cut to it, you're not going to get much help- if any developing a platformer style here, barely anyone even helps with the zelda style as it is.
