As the title states: What CD release are you most looking forward to this year, and which CD that has already been released this year is your favorite?

I'm most looking forward to Millencolin's "Machine 15" which will be out (in the US) on May 6th, I believe. Also, my favorite release so far this year will have to be Our Last Night's "The Ghosts Among Us." (No, it's not just because their bassist is my cousin... it's actually a great album if you don't mind screamo)

I don't really know of many coming out this year, but there are 2 I'm looking forward too.

The Raconteurs - Consolers Of The Lonely (out this Tuesday XD)

The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement (out next month I'm pretty sure)

Both of those are going to be very much in the way of awesome.

Edit: Forgot to say what I've liked so far. Which isn't really worth mentioning because I don't think I have any CDs from this year yet. Except Ghosts I, but that hardly counts.

It's a little upsetting for me to realize that it's 1/4 through the year, and I don't have any new CDs yet.

I'm not really sure what is coming out this year.
But so far my favourites have been:
Bedlam in Goliath - Mars Volta
Ghosts I-IV - Nine Inch Nails
obzen - Meshuggah

and Fortress - Protest the Hero gets an honourable mention

I don't really keep track of CD's. The newest ones I remember are Dylan and Mothership and both of those are 'greatist hits'. lol

Holy craps, I totally forgot a very important album. The Living End are supposed to be bringing out a new album sometime this year, and I recommend you all buy it.

The same goes for the other two I mentioned before actually.

Edit: I just thought I'd add to this post by telling people how surprised I was by Panic At The Disco's new album "Pretty. Odd". Seriously, they really changed it up with more of a classic pop sound, as opposed to their previous, over the top modern pop album.

It's not like it's an amazing album or anything (but it's still quite good), I was just surprised by the direction they went. It's a much better album than I expected it to be, I'll say that much.
