If the purchasing of such cars was given government incentive, then they would not be as expensive.  It is unrealistic to expect any plan to be smooth as silk though and both plans are going to pander to the public's need of not wanting to make a sacrifice (the lack of anyone telling anyone to conserve or to change their habits) and adaptation will only really apply after the new technology is implemented (putting up wind power and solar takes some time, and the infrastructure itself has to be established well).

This is true too; although I'm not entirely sure they'll give incentives regardless of who wins the election :P

Yea if someone has a link post it. I heard on MSNBC that he responded saying something along the lines of "She has a good idea" but if anyone has a video that would be amazing.

I think she'd make a great president.

But then, I really don't care what happens to your country at all :P.

So what! I wanna get out! 'Cos there's so much out there! So many different people, living different lives! Incredibly good guys, bad guys... Folks completely different from us! It's one huge melting pot! See, it's not about success, dying in the streets, who's better, who's not! I just want to be a part of it! I realized that even if I've no connections, no talent, even if I'm one big loser, I want to use my hands and feet to think and move, to shape my own life! We can just die here or we can try, see what we've got!

It would be a disaster if that brainless chick would enter the race.

Not much of a difference from the brainless guy who entered the race. MCCAINE.

Or that governor guy so called ARNOLD SCHWARZNEGGER! It would not surprise me if this video turns out to be serious... and really serious  <___<

"I'll see you at the debates, b*tches." XD haha. That cracked me up. No clue why, but it did. Maybe because I also saw that on Leno and a lot of things on that show crack me up, go figure.

But yeah, I'll bet she'd do a great job
