Switch to this when it is done.

The one main BIG difference is that is actually compiles the EXE.

This greatly increases loading and gameplay speeds.

oh and GASP, it allows you to use C++ too!

It is in it's alpha stages, but it should be done soon.

Well, seeing as C++ is intimidating to most GM users, this should be a smooth transition.

BTW I am still learning it :P I am finally following a book. D:

I saw this when a link to it was posted on NCFC before all of that happened.  I tried to get it to work on my computer, but I failed hard.  It is a neat concept though.

Wow. Well still, this looks VERY promising.
Also, I notice that in the path creator, it doesn't actually show the path, just the coordinates. Just saying'.

Seriously, even if this is only a little bit faster than GM, that'd be super awesome.

I'm gonna try putting in a really simple game, see how that works.
   
   Edit:I tried the bundled GM example, "Hit the ball", about the simplest game ever. IT compiled and ran, but nothing worked like it was supposed to.

I'd like to, but I really can't be bothered when I only want to make simple games and prefer making music anyway :P.

Also, had a look. If they fix the bugs and ditch the java interface (please!) I'll use it.

If it's as good as Game Maker 7 Pro and free, it will definitely open new doors for new coming game developers, that's awesome.
