Rupee systems are dog simple; why do you need an engine for it? It's 2 variables; your rupee cap and your rupee amount.... you just never let your rupees go above your rupee cap...

I highly suggest you listen to our previous suggestions of reading the GM manual and learning more about programming before you go and make a game. Having little to no knowledge of a language, then trying to make a game based solely on other people's engines is going to end in failure.

to make a system that adds one rupee every step like the games actually do, it's 3 variables. 1 for the cap, 1 for the shown amount and 1 for the actual amount. Just make the game check if the shown amount is smaller/larger than the actual amount, and add/subtract while playing a sound.

now heres another problem  I got the rupee to count but it appears on the center of the screen, I want it to go on the bottom left.
