How about the addition of a Twitter mod? Add like, the most recent 5 tweets on the user's profile, links to follow a user, etc?

Better yet, ZFGC should have one. Every other site is doing it now, as well as Facebook.

In terms of feasibility, necessity, and distraction, it wouldn't likely be something that fits well here. Then again, I don't get the hype of this new media; anything more advanced than a pay phone confuses me. The question is: how would this benefit ZFGC?

I use Twitter every day but I don't think having Twiter on my ZFGC profile would help me at all.
I haven't clicked on someone's profile for over a year now on this website.

I can agree sort of with the adding it to profiles, its really gained popularity. But there really isn't enough activity on this forum to warrant it really.

At this point in time, I would say its a bad idea, mainly because our resources are sort of stretched on the development front as far as I know.  I had previously made a twitter mod for smf, but it worked the other way around, and would post links to topics on the user's twitter feed.

I really dislike Twitter a lot and don't use it personally. I don't think this would serve a very good purpose to the boards at all.
