Not trying to say you've done anything wrong, but when you make an edit of someone else's sprite, be it a fan sprite or official, it's best to tell the people you're showing your work to.
Basically what I am saying is that probably everyone in this thread believed that you made your wolf Link sprite completely by yourself, when in fact it's a slightly modified recolor of Nintendo's work. That's a bit misleading. Looking through this thread, a fair ammount of your work appears to be slight edits of existing material. I don't think there's much morality in taking or asking for credit in something you didn't originally make, even if you did slightly edit it.
That would be like me taking a copy of the Mona Lisa, splashing some paint on it and asking for credit on the entire painting.
My suggestion would be to work on progressing from editting to making your own material. You've got a bit of talent under your belt, from what I can tell in what is clearly your own work. I think you'll advance well.
And I apologize if anyone thinks I'm out of line with this post. I just don't think anyone should ask for credit for the hard work of others.
