I've finally gotten around to finalizing a design for the hero, and I like it ;p

I like the name as well. I've never seen any name spelled like that actually, and I llllike it!

I'll be looking forward to playing as Arik, blasting stuffz to pieces in a gleeful man-rage! (just give me lots of stuff to destroy and I'll be happy ;))

In the actual game, you should have unlockable concept art and stuff. Much like the Metroid Prime series does. Just a thought.

I was thinking about that; but I think if I did do that I'd wait until I color these things :P...

I have finished the new head piece, but I'm debating on changing the players actual size overall to something about 4 pixels bigger. Gives me some more room to play around with.

Honestly, I do think that your main character could use a little more detail (last I saw him anyway), so I think that 4 pixels bigger would be a great idea.

Yeah :P He's getting an overhaul, and already had a minor update a couple of days ago. Last updates show the old head, but when I get the new head 100% to where I want it I'll get some screens going.

I have a few ideas on how I want to design the body as well that should work out alright.

Workin on it :p Just have a lot to go before it's done. I've been working on a lot of rewrites, and I still have a lot to go. Collisions have never been 100% perfect, so I'm really trying to get it done. :P

Working on the drill sprites now.

On a side note, I have a WIP concept image in the works- Some areas on the image will change as I finalize it :P

Yeah :P I stepped up from 16x16 to 16x24 for more depth and the like.

All's well in the world so far ;p
