What do you think of the blair witch? Or the movie.

I think its 100% true. None of the families ever found there sonds and daughters, and the people in the film were never seen again.

I mean, how much more real can you get?

I dont think its like a 'Beast' I think its just an insane person that torchures people. Like in hostel.

Anyways thats off-topic.

What do you think?

Uh...wtf? The people in the film are alive and well...they filmed parts of the movie near san diego (a bit of a drive from me) and they are avent surfurs. The movie itself made loads of cash and only cost around 12000 to make. As for the true story its only a myth and the people who made it are unhappy it is considered truth, when its an indepenten non-fiction.

The people in the film are, but the film was actually based on a real videotape found of people that went missing...

LMFAO This movie is fake people... Don't be so gullible. The people who made it can tell you that.
This "myth" never actually existed. They just made that up once the movie was proven fake to continue the rapid increase in sales... Now that the movies history, they've told the truth...

Didn't they admit it wasn't true? The movie was mostly improv, though.

it would have to be, if you scripted it, it would seem more uniform, not to mention, if these unknown actors were to read a script, who's to say they would be good at that type of acting

I think you're making a poor assumption about unknown actors. Every actor has to start somewhere.

And impro is even harder to pull off successfully than a script.

But, uh, yeah. The film was just a film, and there's really nothing more to it than that. There never was any "Blair Witch" apart from Tony. :P

i disagree, to some people improve is easier than reading designated lines, some people are faster on their feet than their behinds

But to keep a predesignated plot with this improvisation while leading to particular cues - which was some of the point of the film, in that it had a plot which they wanted to lead somewhere - is nigh-on impossible.

The movie is sooo old and it still confuses people. It always impresses me how convincing they made it. But yeah, of course it's fake.

I personally don't think it's a witch. Those kids may have been sacrificed by some stupid cult (there's one in my town that, to date, has sacrificed 8 kids), so we can't rule out a sacrifice.

About the people in the real video, it's a large wooded area. They got lost, and eventually went insane. But that was pretty gnarley when they found the package with teeth and fingers. :)

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone thought to themselves "You know, I really want to set those people over there on fire." - George Carlin

(!@#$%)

Hear the haunting words (They'll find you alone)
lost children with no heart are crying (Turning their hearts into stone)
and you're the lost mother they're calling
Go now, run and hide (seek more than vengeance)
I hear them crying at night (your pain is their satisfaction)
outside when the planets are falling (for the rest of time)
They want to feel and know you hear them (Go now, run and hide)

All the evidence you'll ever need to convince you that the movie is made up. Hell, the actors who apparently die at the end still have careers!
