Ouch. It kinda makes sense though. In japanese, there is no clear L letter or sound. Mostly the letter/sound of R is substituted for L'. Thats still a burn though.

Yeah, it is mostly a translation error, like "Well Baranced Player" in the JP version of PPFDS, but still, Sony's used it on like all of their consoles. They could put some effort in it.

I think it could be a photoshop. Looking at it carefully, the repetition of pixel colours through the top of the R, differs from the left down stroke (which could have been part of the original L).
Also the angle of the R seems slightly skewed to the rest of the word, suggesting that it was copied over from the the "START"

That Rs not skewed at all (Though thats not to say the other R courdnt easily be transfolmed to fit that quad).
The beam that highlights the r and e is a bi weird though, but still it could just be real.

That was gleat. Too bad it isn't true. I still can't believe they are still using their origanal controler. And the people I know complain that Nintendo doesn't do anything origanal.  ::)

I'm pretty sure that's a photoshop job. Not to mention how easily someone in that topic edited the same picture to say "fart" isntead of "start" (not as convincing as the Serect, but not too bad, either).

Don't think I'm saying that Nintendo is unoriginal, but a DS is like a PDA that plays game. That's like ripping off PDAs and the NGage (existing portable device + gaming).

Huh? Portable gaming was made by Nintendo...Game&Watch? Gameboy?

And nobody ever used touch screens for gaming. But the BrainGames are sorta PDA-ish...
