What do you think.Is it bad or is it good?I personaly think its a relationship ruiner so im against it.

It should only be kept away from prepubescent children who would not otherwise understand it.  For all other instances, it should be allowed.

I don't think it would matter much if it was banned roms are illegal not like they're hard to get. I don't look at/watch porn as it's against my personal moral code.

I think it should be allowed for peoples pleasure,some watch/look at porn because they cant get a date or just because they are bored or for an actual good reason but i agree with 4sword i think it should stay as long as its kept away from kids.

I think kids should be allowed to watch it too. If they want to watch it and they feel they are mature enough to handle it then why should there be laws to stop them? Kids are curious; it's usually they who find the porn and not the other way around.

Ummm...why not? Come on, just about every teenager watches porn some time, it's unavoidable. If you let it ruin a relationship, it's because you were enough of a dumbass to let it do so. Period.

Its all about religious beleifs.I personaly dont look at porn because i think its wrong.the people that are in porn should get a real job cause its most likely to tear there life apart.so dont be a porn star.

It should stay. If you don't want to look at it, then don't. No one's making you. Porn is here for those who want to look at it.

that is not true at all. American TV is VERY anti nudity. Look at the superbowl fiasco, one boob for a couple seconds. HUGE fines and MTV is barred from ever producing a halftime show again.

It's actually pretty stupid to try and keep your kids away from the sight of uncovered skin. I can't remember having seizures and night-mares when seeing a boob for the very first time of my life (not including my mothers breast, as I didn't have a consciousness as a baby and - she's my mum, for god's sake). I think it shouldn't be banned - or it shouldn't be tried, for that matter. Because you can get porn everywhere and anytime, no matter if an organisation of parents try to ban it (and you just know they did try a lot of times.)

I'm not gonna tell lies - porn is in almost all cases not real or does represent the real life. Yet I think that intercourse is a perfectly normal thing. As long as kids don't have to see crying li'l teenager-girls being raped, it's not that bad. You know why?

Because we all have a healthy mind.

I say it again and again. Having sex is something completely normal and earlier or later we will all experience it. May it be because of other people having it or we do ourself. There's no way you can keep your kids away from it - for whatever reason.

Actually, it isn't a matter of religious beliefs.  You'll note that there are a large amount of studies out there, who show the effects in your brain pattern are similar to that of cocaine and other harmful drugs/stimulants.

Quite frankly: it's damaging.  It has the effects on your brain as many illegal drugs do, and it's a form of substance abuse (hello?! why else do you think it's illegal-- in America-- for those under 18?).

In fact, the government recognizes it as a legal form of substance abuse.  I was talking about getting "Top Secret" security clearance to an FBI agent.  The thing is: you have to have a 10 year background check.  Extensive use with drugs or pornography?  You fail.  Automatically.

You have to realize that this is an internet site.  People who spend too much time on the internet view pornography.  Generalization?  Yes, but a true one.

There have also been studies saying how it is good to relieve stress and stop prostrate cancer.  Normal people are not born with a tendency to seek out and do drugs, but they are born with a later tendency to be aroused by naked images.  It only gets out of control when people abuse it, and that is no reason to ban it for anybody.  People do not ban alcohol because a few people take a good liking to it; well, actually they tried it once, and it led to even more problems and was deemed unnecessary to stay banned. 

Oh, and Hyrule_boy, just because some people do watch daily porn does not mean that you should little their opinion.  The people who do that have other reasons it should stay other than the fact that they watch it.

Your analogy doesn't work.  Most people are born with a tendancy to be stimulated by stimulants.  Heroin is a stimulant.  Pornography is a stimulant.

Wow, great generalization sweetheart. Yeah, I've watched porn before. Do I a lot? No. Sometimes it's even with friends just because some of it is so damn funny.

Basically, becoming addicted to porn is a choice because it isn't like some physically addictive drug. The dependence is mental. It's no substitute for real sex, which is no substitute for a relationship. If you don't realize that, sorry, but you're an idiot. Go meet a girl, silly porn freak.

Since when is it an analogy?  Pornography affects your brain into producing natural stimulants like adrenaline and endorphins.  These are chemicals that your body makes naturally.  While pornography is not a natural situation as the hormones and natural chemicals were intended for, it is acceptable.  It is like working out with free weights.  Maybe people should ban that too, because it is not really working out as much as it is endlessly tuning a muscle through means that it was not intended for: muscle training should be applied through work experience.  You should not hate the artificial method of natural stimulation, but everyone should hate the artificial stimulation of drugs.

I never said porn was good, I just said that it was not bad.  You should learn to respect the opinions of everyone 2awesome4apossum.  I could little your opinion because I know that your sense of morality is being defined by your religious morals on relationships between man and woman.  Do not go all Ad Hominem; just because someone does it does not make opinion wrong.

Seriously, it's the same with video-games. People like my grandma don't know !@#$% about it. They see on TV how video-games make terrorists out of little children. And TV says ALL of the people who play video-games become sick murderer.

Not only the TV, but everybody is making porn bad. You say you try to prevent your inner virginity from being crushed by "bad pictures". Do you want to die a virgin? Or even a person who don't know what the other genders body looks like uncovered? If you say that this is your religion, then I ask you: God wanted you to not reproduce? What kind of god is that?
