Pretty nice, i don't think it would fit many styles, except maybe FSA.
Also, it could use some AA'ing and smoother lineart. Other than those, i think it's nice.
Oh, and you could use a lot less shades.

Heh, you used a black background. Kinda hard to see whats wrong with it, but I saved it and looked at it with a grey background. (Grey FTW). The edges are kinda rough, so it definately needs some AA'ing, like Tompel said. Other than that, its okay. The colors on the yellow ones really bug me. :-\

Agree, and you should consider dithering rather than this concrete colour-steps. Other than that, I 8/10 it. :D

the reason for the no smoothing on the edge of the buttons is that in a game there is a world scrolling under the buttons, and the colors that you choose dont always really go together with the place ur in (unles you make them transparent i guess) i made the A button big cause its the action button, and you need lots of space for words to go on it like "roll" or "attack" and etc. the B button is small cause theres basically only one item thats gunna go there, the sword.
