I assume Eurocup has something to do with Football? (clearly doesn't pay attention to or care for the sport...or any sport for that matter :P)

The only sport if give crap about is fencing, but when international soccer time comes along, I get excited about it anyway, because the rest of my family does. It's not that I pretend to like it or anything, it's just that I get to have a good time with them. My cousins were all on the phone yelling with excitement. Ye-yuh.

They deserved it though. It's a miracle Germany even got into the semis.

In that game they were mainly playing like

HOLY !@#$% A SPANISH PLAYER I BETTER PASS THE BALL BACK TO THE GOALKEEPER

LIKE EVERY
!@#$%
TIME.

It was so stupid. And then Kevin Kuranyi got really pissed at the end and did foul after foul.

Yeah, way to go. Go get a hair-cut you hippie.

Yeah... I noticed that the Germans were playing really defensively, a tactic to be employed only hen you're winning, despite the fact that Spain had already score the first and only goal. Of course I'm no expert, but, that's what their mistake seemed to be.

I'm trying to think of a war joke for that, but nothing is coming to mind.

Now, if this was the french we were talking about, it'd be easy. "I'm surprised it even came down to them losing. I was expecting them to just surrender after the first five minutes.", see, it just rolls off the tongue...fingers...typing...you know what I mean.

If there's something about Europe that I know, it's that Soccer is actually Football.

What we as Americans call Football is actually considered American Football outside of America. amirite, Europe?

(And no, I said nothing anti-european)

No, I do not. France are awesome at football.

Germany shoulda won :(

lol jk they weren't playing that well and weren't really that good. They're just my team. (Despite me living in the US) Spain played a good game and deserved to win it.

Nah, Spain did really well and their football deserved a title for the last decade, and they did it well this time. Congratulations. Also, I was cheering for our neighbours. xD
Anyways, Germany didn't show any football at all, just like Greece did 4 years ago (cattenatio + ridiculous defense + lots of luck + luck and scoring on stopped balls). Fortunately, Spain managed to overcome that ultra-defensive football.
No pun intended, Fox, but Germany didn't really do well at all, they didn't deserve their final spot, and their wins against Portugal (oh, the anger D: ) and Turkey was nothing but plain luck: both Portugal and Turkey played waaay better... Anyways, better luck next time.
I'm not really going to comment this Euro, since it was very, very overhyped here in Portugal (also, Cristiano Lolnaldo >_> - who didn't play a s-), and our coach dismissed himself halfway, acted like a retard against Germany, played favorites, didn't learn from errors, failed: a lot, oh well... I hope we do really better on WC 2010.
Congratz both Spain and Germany. :3
Not the best Euro I've seen (f-ing badly organizated), but still, it was fun.
