Most of his hobbies and interests turn out to be good games that he makes, but the knowledge of such activities isn't enough information to give someone else ideas. I think Nintendo just wants him to hush from excessively saying what he is interested in as he is then probably working on a game of a similar nature. He knows that he is important to Nintendo, so I doubt this is bothering him; in fact, he probably sees the good in it.

He lived around a forest and used to go and play in it with his friends.. The man has a wild imagination, realistically they're protecting trade secrets, if he's fine with keeping his life private, and Nintendo isn't infringing on that, then what business is it of ours?
